- The new Christian Brothers College development on Wakefield Street, Adelaide, is a state of the art educational facility for the 21st Century. Equipped with all the latest teaching technologies, this stunningly designed building features large expanses of glazing to each facade providing natural light to classrooms and communal spaces. Shadeform were appointed by Swanbury Penglase Architects to supply and install multiple motorised Issiroll units with automated sun and wind control units to the Eastern facade. The Issiroll window blind provides shading and solar control improving user comfort within the building and reducing demands on air conditioning.

- After a round of golf, what could be nicer than enjoying a nice meal and a drink on this outdoor terrace. This west facing dining and drinks area was at the mercy of the sun, preventing full use and enjoyment at the peak late afternoon period. As a solution to this problem, a series of Issey Vertirolls were installed which provide retractable and controllable solar protection whilst preserving views over the Golf Course. Golf Club Members and Guests are now able to enjoy the 19th hole to the max!!

- Following the recent upgrade to the Western Grandstand, the South Australian Cricket Association required retractable shade to protect the Giffen Stand pavilion windows and cover part of the member’s area. Shadeform were engaged to install a series of Six Issey Laguna motorized folding arm awnings covering a width of 46 metres. Custom brackets were designed to install the Laguna folding arm awnings to the underside of the pre-cast concrete first level seating deck. A motion sensor unit was installed with each awning to enable automatic retraction if wind speeds pick up within the stadium.

- A series of four Issey Unicom Drop Arm Awnings were installed at the Art Cafe on North Terrace providing patrons of the cafe with much needed protection from the sun. The Issey Unicom is the ideal solution for the cafe terrace with its stone pillars, enabling the installation of the drop arm system which provides optional angled shading for differing sun conditions. The result is an increase in usable commercial space for the Art Cafeand an improved outdoor dining experience for patrons.
